Stressed? Press Reset!


One thing you cannot hide from in life is stress. It’s evitable. Whether it is from work, your family, relationships, financial woes…you name it, at some point you will feel stressed. I am sure many of you can relate to feeling this way from time to time, as can I. Stress creeps up on me at the most unexpected moments. It’s a feeling that I usually can handle, since I try my best to have a positive outlook on everything. But even those of us who are known for keeping it all together can have our moments.

When I am feeling down or overly stressed, I know it is time to press my reset button. I need to take some time out for myself and just smell the roses. Usually an afternoon talk with my mom or a day trip with my boyfriend somewhere helps. Either way, it is completely normal to feel this way. No one is perfect, nor does anyone have a perfect life. So the next time that you are feeling down or stressed, press your reset button. Go for a walk or talk to a friend. Remind yourself of all the things you have to be thankful for.
