For the past 2 weeks, I have been taking a protein supplement after my workouts called Raw Protein. I wanted to find a product that was healthy and one that wasn’t loaded with fillers or artificial flavors. While browsing online, I came across Garden of Life’s Raw Protein powder. Not only did it have positive reviews, but nutritionist Kimberly Snyder recommended it, too. It had all the criteria I was looking for, so I ordered the powder in the flavor ‘chocolate cacao’.

At first, I was skeptical about the taste, but I was pleasantly surprised. I like that it has natural ingredients and keeps me full and energized after my workouts. One scoop contains 17 grams of protein, and can be mixed in water or almond milk. Just be sure to mix the powder really well so that you don’t get a gritty consistency ;-)

Tip: Consuming at least 10 grams of protein after working out helps to repair your muscles and reduce soreness.
