Happy November

Happy November 2nd! I cannot believe how close we are to the holiday season. October just flew by, and while every house around my boyfriend’s neighborhood displayed Halloween decorations for the entire month of October, one house already had Christmas lights and a blow-up snowman out! I guess they couldn’t wait until after Halloween? Every store I go into is decorated with holiday lights and trees now, too. It’s seems a bit rushed, but I don’t mind since Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have to start making my list of what I’m getting everyone this year!

Last week my boyfriend’s cousin visited from Germany. He is a hairdresser and offered to cut mine since it had gotten so long. I wanted something different, so when he asked if I trusted him, I said sure. Much to my boyfriends dismay, he cut my bangs straight across. In America, we call them blunt bangs, but in Europe, he told me they are called “pony bangs”. I had this style once before, but this time I am unsure about whether or not I like them. He cut them extra thick and I am secretly praying that they grow back quickly. Hopefully the hair, skin and nails vitamins I bought will speed up the process! Haha.

This past weekend, my boyfriend and I attended a birthday party for one of his other cousin’s. They had the party at Beebos in Brooklyn and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was so nice and they had face painting and balloons for the young kids. Apparently my new hair cut reminded his family of the queen from the movie The Mummy. I’m still not quite sure if that was a compliment or not. :-)

I’m also excited to introduce my Zazzle store! So far I have 2 items; one is a mug that has the positive guidelines written around it and a light-weight logo t-shirt. Leave a comment and let me know what other merchandise you would like to see.

Have a beautiful weekend! xo Lindsay
