La Vie Est Belle

Lancome’s latest fragrance is called La Vie Est Belle, which in French translates to “life is beautiful”. I saw the advertisement with Julia Roberts while I was in Macy’s and couldn’t refrain myself from smelling the romantic, light-pink bottle. The scent smells just as the name suggests; beautiful, and has notes of Iris, Gourmand and Patchouli – perfect for the fall and winter. I tend to gravitate toward fragrances that are not heavy or too overpowering, and this one is perfect. I do believe it better suites a woman who is in college or older, rather than a young girl. The best way that I could describe La Vie Est Belle is warm, pretty and timeless-chic. La Vie Est Belle is the perfect gift for the holidays coming up or as a present to yourself!
