How To Maintain Beautiful, Blemish-Free Skin

  1. Wash your face twice a day – once in the morning and once before bedtime
  2. Always have a clean face before bed, remove all traces of makeup
  3. Try to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly
  4. Resist the temptation to pick and squeeze any pimples or potential breakouts
  5. Drink eight 8 ounces of water a day to maintain clear skin and keep your digestive system clean (Adding a slice of freshly squeezed lemon is a plus!)
  6. Apply a layer of zit cream containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide to any potential breakouts. Clearasil acne treatment or Proactiv’s refining mask usually work for me
  7. Change your pillow cases at least once a week
  8. Try to sleep on your back to avoid future wrinkles from forming
  9. Exfoliate no more than 3 times a week; I like St. Ives apricot scrub
  10. Carry oil absorbing sheets with you if your skin tends to be oily
  11. Apply a moisturizer containing at least SPF 15 to your face and décolleté before going outside
  12. After washing your face before bed, it is not necessary to use a moisturizer with SPF, because it could aggravate and irritate your skin
