Skin

Our skin is the largest organ in the human body and it is important that we take care of it, especially the skin on our face. I have mentioned that I ended my visits to the tanning salon and opted for tinted moisturizers. When I worked in cosmetics, it surprised me how many women “over-did it” on skincare products – Some didn’t even know how to properly take care of their skin. I even had a friend recently ask me what an exfoliator was. To maintain healthy looking skin and delay signs of aging, I make sure to keep my routine clean and simple. I use an exfoliator a few days a week, usually in the mornings, to wash away any dead skin cells and to keep my skin smooth. On the days I do not use an exfoliator, I wash my face with Cetaphil Facewash. Then, I apply a moisturizer with SPF (I like Jergins Natural Glow or Olay Complete for sensitive skin). After my day is done and I am ready for bed, I make sure to wipe off all of my makeup with my makeup wipes and do the same routine: wash and moisturize. Do you have any specific steps or products that you use to take care of your skin?
