How to Succeed at the Gym

Hydrate: always bring a water bottle with you or visit the water-fountain often

Wear appropriate work-out attire; sports bra, gym pants/shorts and shirt

 Invest in a good pair of sneakers!

Start off by doing at least 20-30 minutes of cardio

Incorporate weights and machines to your regimen

Try not to eat a large meal before the gym. It is more beneficial to eat after a work-out

Bring headphones or an ipod with you to keep you focused on yourself

Remember that you are there for yourself, so don’t feel intimidated. Everyone is there for the same reason: to work out and get healthy
