Positive Guidelines

PHYSICAL

1. Drink plenty of water

2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar

3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants

4. Live with the 3 E`s – Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy

5. Make time to pray. Pray.

6. Read more than you did last year

7. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day

8. Take a deep breath to calm the mind

9. Get enough rest so you’re able to perform at your very best

10. Take a 10-30 minute walk daily

EMOTIONAL

11. Don`t compare your life to others. You have no idea what life has in store for them

12. Don`t have negative thoughts about things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive and in the present moment

13. You don`t have to win every argument, sometimes it is better to agree to disagree

14. Know your limits. Don’t overdo

15. Don`t take yourself so seriously, no one else does

16. Life is too short; don`t waste energy on gossip or hate

17. Dream more while you are awake

18. Envy is a waste of time, you already have all you need

19. Keep in mind that no one is in charge of your happiness except you

20. Don’t forget to smile and laugh, it’s not like we get out of this alive

21. It’s never too late to have a happy childhood, but the second one is up to you and no one else

SOCIAL

22. Call your family often

23. If a relationship has to be secret, you shouldn’t be in it

24. Don’t remind people of their past mistakes, it only ruins the present

25. Try to make at least 1 person smile each day

26. Never seek revenge, what goes around comes around

27. What other people think of you is none of your business

28. Your job won`t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch

MENTAL

29. Try to do the right thing

30. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present

31. Get rid of anything that isn`t useful, beautiful or joyful

32. Pay off your credit cards every month

33. However good or bad a situation is, it will always change

34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up

35. Hang in there, the best is yet to come

36. When you wake up every morning, thank GOD for it

37. Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy

38. Over prepare, and then go with the flow

39. Whatever doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger

40. Frame every so-called disaster with these words “in five years, will this matter” ?
